據說樓毓華大一時﹐還沒入學就名聞全班。因為他莫名其妙地在開學前﹐被別人在肚子上劃了一刀﹐腸子流出﹐只好兩手捧著肚子﹐奔去醫院。同學對他的膽識﹐驚嘆不已﹐二話不說﹐立即公推為班代。(苦肉計﹖)

憶及往事﹐樓毓華說﹐「事實上﹐屁股也被戳了一刀﹐痛得褲子都不能脫。」

32年後﹐美女環繞﹐也不枉班代一場。

Dear all,

I was getting ready to fill up my car at a gas station yesterday when my cell phone rang. It was 洪振輝 calling from Richardson, Texas. I too, haven’t seen or talked to him since graduation from NTU. He and 席立素 just met for lunch earlier.  We saluted to 林 莉 for getting us connected.

My high school classmates had a three-day reunion last September. One morning, 葉漢國, 溫蘭西, and I had breakfast together. We talked about the college days. One of the things we remembered with fun memory was the night at 溪頭 during our 畢業旅行 that 洪振輝, 樓毓華, and 陳再榮 performed as the “Three Dog Night”.  The “Dogs” were quite entertaining.

I promised 洪振輝 to send him some photos of classmates that I have seen in recent years. Assuming some of you might be interested too, so I’m sending to everyone. (I only picked the ones that I looked OK, of course.)

1st photo (taken around Oct. 2005) -溫蘭西, 許麗莉, and I all live in same area. We meet quarterly for brunch/lunch and talk for hours. My younger daughter and 許麗莉’s son were in the same orchestra in middle school for a year. I thought that’s quite amazing to be classmates for two generations.

2nd photo (taken November, 2007) - 朱博文 came to Houston to visit his sister. 溫蘭西 and I got to see him after almost 30 years. We had a good time connection past and present.

The next three photos were taken in September, 2005. After my high school’s big reunion, some classmates met us in Los Angeles. It was a very happy reunion.

The last photo (taken August, 2006) – My daughters and I visited 劉卉文 in Boston. 劉卉文 and I had been in same schools since 4th grade. We have known each other for about 40 years.

許麗莉 came to Dallas this week to attend a conference and visit her daughter Jennifer who is a Harvard graduate and now a 2nd year medical student in UT Southwestern in Dallas.   傅靜 (who also works at UT Southwetern) brought her young daughter to meet  許麗莉, Jennifer, and I for dinner last night at Richardson.    Same as with 洪振輝, I have not seen 許麗莉 since graduation.   The last time I saw 傅靜 was 2005 at our high school and college reunion at LA, even though we both live in Dallas area.  So it was a very nice get together.  And I could not think of a better thing to do on Friday night.
 
Attached are two pictures I took.  許麗莉's daughter Jennifer is as sweet in the picture as in person.  傅靜's young daughter was not in the mood last night to take picture with us.

六月初冷傳琴和王月琴 去Boston參加她們的大女兒的畢業典禮 (冷傳琴的大女兒從 MIT 畢業, 王月琴的大女兒從 Harvard 畢業).
六月五日是唯一一天大家可以聚在一起, 楊淑瑾特地從Houston飛來, 劉卉文提供她家做為聚會場地, 劉媽媽燒了一桌好菜招待我們.
