They provide some background of my father http://www.cghka.com/chinese/news_208_1.htm (with the same initials as I have: JC lee). He passed away a few years ago at 99. They also inform you how I spend my time beside work and travel. The JC Lee Collection of Horse and Orchid coins from Sichuan Province is the greatest known. Much of the proceeds from this auction will go to charities in Sichuan that has suffered a lot lately from natural disasters.

The attached B/W photo captures me ready to go to Fushing as a first grader one morning.  The round object in my left hand was NOT the ball that May remembered. It was an American apple my father just brought back from an U.S. trip. I was so excited with it (very precious in those times) that I will never forget that moment my father took the photo.  The Japanese house we lived in was totally renovated by the Taipei Municipal Government who turned it into a permanent museum of cultural heritage last year. I revisited it early this year and found out that its internal layout was kept exactly the way it was. Walking into my old bedroom, the image of that little boy in the photo began to loom in front of my eyes. At that very moment, I wished I were in the movie: ”Back to the Future” so that I could give a few advises in life to that boy and tell him to bet heavily on New York Jets in Super Bowl I.  Entering the kitchen loomed the scene of my mother stir frying the dishes and screaming: “Da Tow (Big Head), come home, dinner is ready!”. At 97, she still calls me "Da Tow" today.
 
The attached color photo depicts my sister Lee Guo Mei (also a Fushing First Class) and my daughter, Helen, taken in 1995 at her Californian residence.
