我要在這裡告訴大家怎麼set up Windows XP, 可以打中文, 說明很簡潔, 若有問題, 我們一起討論. 第一種方法是漢語拼音的使用法, 第二種是注音符號拼音法. 若沒學過中打, 我建議學第一種. 我是用第二種, 因為過去學中打 我只知道用注音符號輸入, 已經習慣了.
這裡說的兩種方法:
1. Microsoft New Phonetic IME 2002a
甲、設定方法:
i. Control Panel ->
ii. Regional and Language Options ->
iii. click on Language tab ->
iv. click on details ->
v. at setting tab, click add ->
vi. click the dropdown list and select Chinese () ->
vii. check the square next to keyboard layout/IME ->
viii. click the dropdown list right below it and select Microsoft New Phonetic IME 2002a ->
ix. select OK ->
x. click Apply at the bottom and then at the same screen, highlight Microsoft New Phonetic IME 2002a,
xi. then click Properties
xii. at the setting tab, select Legacy IME, At Query input code: select 注音
xiii. Select Associate phrase under Candidate list setting
xiv. At Keyboard Mapping tab, select the radio button of HanYu Pinyin, then Click OK
xv. There’s a Key Setting at the bottom, you can select it and choose a shortcut keystroke to get the input method when you need it, I am not going to do it today.
xvi. Click Apply and OK
xvii. Click Apply and OK again
乙、使用方法:
i. 打開 Word or any word processing program, open a new file,
ii. At the right hand corner of the taskbar there’s “EN” showing you are using English, click on it and select show language bar so you can select the language and input method you want, I am not discussing it here, either.
iii. 中英文的切換是用Alt + Shift (左邊的) 同時按.
iv. ㄅㄆㄇㄈ子母音的輸入方法就按廖老師說的英文輸入方式去做. 唯一的差別是Windows XP的中文輸入無法像南極星的使用快速但可彌補的是你只要輸入一字, XP會把後面緊跟的詞帶出讓你選擇
v. 清音的字必須按space bar才會顯現.
vi. 選後續的詞, 需按shift + number of the word.
2. Chinese (Traditional) – Phonetic
甲、設定方法:
i. Control Panel ->
ii. Regional and Language Options ->
iii. click on Language tab ->
iv. click on details ->
v. at setting tab, click add ->
vi. click the dropdown list and select Chinese (
vii. check the square next to keyboard layout/IME ->
viii. click the dropdown list right below it and select Chinese (traditional) - Phonetic->
ix. There’s a Key Setting at the bottom, you can select it and choose a shortcut keystroke to get the input method when you need it, I am not going to do it today.
x. Click Apply and OK
xi. Click Apply and OK again
乙、使用方法:
i. 打開 Word or any word processing program, open a new file,

iii. 中英文的切換是用Alt + Shift (左邊的) 同時按.
iv. 按後, 左下角銀幕出現一長方塊, 上有ㄅ和半兩字. 按ㄅ可toggle, 選擇中英文輸入. 按半可toggle, 選擇全體或半體字型. 通常選半體即可.
v. 移滑鼠到ㄅ半的上面, 後按右鍵, 可出現shortcut menu. 有螢幕小鍵盤, 選它, 你可看到ㄅㄆㄇㄈ的輸入keystroke, 應在哪裡(這是standard的keyboard). 你可用滑鼠去選ㄅㄆㄇㄈ或母音輸入, 我是把ㄅㄆㄇㄈ的位置背下來, 練習打一陣後, 就會快速些. 當然速度仍不可能有一分鐘1600的可能, 可是我也算蠻快的了.
vi. 移滑鼠到ㄅ半的上面, 後按右鍵, 若選擇符號, 你可以看到螢幕小鍵盤變成中式的標點符號, 可以使用.
vii. ㄅㄆㄇㄈ輸入後加四聲, 字便列出供你選擇. 清音的字必須按space bar字才會顯現.
viii. 你只要輸入一字, XP會把後面緊跟的詞帶出讓你選擇
ix. 選後續的詞, 需按shift + number of the word.
我說的很簡短, 應該會有些問題顯現出來. 若有問題, 我們再仔細推敲.
