We use this web site to update information to the public, and e-mail signed-in alumnae the planning status update, which we may not want to post on web site.
During our reunion, we also plan to have reunions for elementary school, junior high schools, college, and activity groups in the high school.
We need a contact person for Fu Hsing, and expect that person to come to the reunion. The best candidate will be from Fu-Hsing and the class of 1977 in the Taipei First Girls High school. The tasks are shown in the contact person page on our web site.
The contact person will receive updated contact list from our database center. Please recommend that person carefully to protect our privacy.

Dear Lillian and fellow Chien Kuo Class of 1977 schoolmates,
After sitting around long enough to wait for someone step forward to take the project of compiling the 1977 Chien Kuo alumni directory., I decide to volunteer myself to work on this project.
I personally value the prestige of alumni networking very much and benefit from the trust as well as quality of working with people armed with the same education as mine in many occasions. It makes sense to hook up again with our schoolmates after graduating from Chien Kuo for 30 years. After all, it should be the responsibility to do the project by us rather than by alumni from friendly schools.
So, if you agree with my points, please kindly step forward. Let’s organize a project committee via internet and take over Lilllian’s effort from here. I hope at least one schoolmate from each class could step forward. I recalled that we have 26 classes in Chien Kuo during our stay. It would be much easier to have an organizer from each class to find your own classmates and integrate the results as a whole later.
It would be also meaningful to have an organizer from each geological region as the second dimension in schoolmates finding. Spread the words out in your neighborhood and society. Your schoolmates might be just around you and pop out from nowhere.
Looking forward to having a 30-year reunion with you and our teachers this year!

Thanks for doing this for us. I, for one, hope you will keep doing it so I can just enjoy the fruits, well, selfish thought.
I would try to forward the list to people I keep contact with and ask them to email you, if they want to be added to the list. Will this method work? Since I don't want to just add their emails to the list without making sure it is OK to make their information public.
I hope one of us (or some of us) will be so kind (and so lucky) as you to lead this great effort! But, before that, please hang in there. I hope this coming Pig Year will see a difference in our 1977 grade, as you may know, many of us were born in a pig year!

正如我在Newsletter070125中所說﹐1977級北一女三十年重聚的列車已經啟動了。日期訂在2007年9月21~23日﹐地點在南加州的 City of Industry。
1977級建中通訊錄也循慣例﹐與北一女同屆同學同步編集﹐只是證諸以往經驗﹐除了1974與1975級成績尚可﹐其他因缺乏熱心校友﹐效果及效率著實很低。還請大家一起幫忙傳遞此訊息。
與312XX商量(這結果一點也不讓02意外)﹐仍然由02負責建立全屆(含夜補校)名單﹐312XX負責貢獻至少100位同學聯絡資料。02花了兩天時間將名單全部繕打完成。
第一版以復興校友為主的1977建中通訊錄已於周五發出。希望能從各位大學通訊錄著手﹐效率比較高﹐我不知道獨力為建中還能做多少屆﹐不是不投入﹐實在是成效令人沮喪。希望你們這一屆能重燃我快要熄滅的希望。
FYI﹐1974級已聯絡上700位﹐1975級已聯絡上670位﹐1976級已聯絡上235位。
